VOICEOVER TALENT

clearwater voiceover voice over native indian seattle

James is one of a very few Native American actors in the Seattle area working in voiceover. A mixed-blood coming from the Haudenosaunee people in upstate New York, he is a trained stage and voiceover actor, and singer. He has starred in numerous stage productions, including Jesus Christ Superstar, Pump Boys & Dinettes, Man of La Mancha, and Assassins, as well as the world premieres of Honor Song For Crazy Horse and Hunchback. He worked with the Ableza Institute and Native American Media Mentors in the San Francisco Bay Area, and has worked as a Native American artistic consultant.

James started in the entertainment industry as a singer/songwriter. Having always been interested in performing, he worked in local community theatres, and eventually worked in some of the larger equity houses in and around San Francisco. While there, he began voiceover training with Susan McCollum and Samantha Paris, and was soon found working in studios around the Bay Area. After moving to Seattle, he honed his chops with Veronica Weikel, and started his career in Seattle.
